Welcome to Shift
We are excited to share some big updates today.
After building and running Let’s Feel Good for the past year, growing this community, connecting with so many incredible women, and moving deeper through my own healing journey, I’m excited to formally introduce you to the launch of Shift and my co-founder, Marissa.
Why Let’s Feel Good Is Going Deeper
Let’s Feel Good was born from a very real place.
I was navigating burnout, health confusion, and symptoms that kept me feeling frustrated, uncomfortable, and far from my best much of the time. I had a deep desire to understand my body and myself better.
LFG became a space to explore how good we can feel when we reconstruct our lifestyle in supportive ways. Eating cleaner whole foods. Swapping out products for non-toxic options. Incorporating more movement into our days.
And that matters.
But what I realized along the way is that the health and wellness culture is exploding. We are spending more money than ever on supplements, high-protein snacks, boutique workouts, saunas, and detoxes, yet we are not getting healthier.
If anything, many of us are getting sicker while health and wellness continues to grow as one of the largest consumer spend categories.
Protocols, diets, supplements, rigid ways of eating, and perfect workouts are not the answer. What they often become is another way to outsource our health to something outside of us.
In many cases, the wellness industry unintentionally reinforces disconnection. We override signals, chase fixes, and stay focused on controlling the body rather than listening to it.
We believe this disconnection from ourselves is at the root of many chronic health issues. In that way, the wellness industry at large may be contributing to the very epidemic it is trying to solve.
Let’s Feel Good helped us feel better.
But it did not yet help us understand why we feel so bad to begin with.
Meet Marissa
I’m Marissa. Annie and I found each other during a time of transition and a shared pull toward work that felt more meaningful. I spent years leading product at Peloton and building early-stage tech companies, including in women’s health. During this time, I was also on my own health and healing journey.
Together we’ve spent most of our adult lives searching - for the right answers, the right routines, and the right version of ourselves that would finally make things feel easier.
Like many women, we moved through wellness trends and healing practices, through ambition and achievement, and through some of life’s harder chapters: breakups, chronic health issues, body image struggles, career transitions, and the identity shifts that come with your 20s and 30s.
For a long time, that search looked like trying to feel better through diet optimization and ambiguous “self care”. And while parts of that journey were meaningful, something deeper kept revealing itself.
What we’ve come to understand (slowly, imperfectly, and often through discomfort) is that feeling stuck isn’t usually a motivation problem or a discipline problem. It’s often a misalignment problem.
A life lived slightly out of sync with who we truly are, what we need, and what our bodies are trying to tell us.
This realization is what shaped the evolution of this work.
What began as a personal exploration of wellness has grown into something more honest and more foundational. “Feeling Good” moved from diet, health, and lifestyle changes toward the deeper work of inner healing. Through inner healing and reconnecting with ourselves, we found that our lives and our health began to flow naturally.
After years of adding more and more steps and practices, healing actually came from slowing down and starting to listen inward. We found healing in community instead of trying to figure out everything alone.
When we began doing that work, together and alongside other women, things started to change. Not because our circumstances changed and life became perfect, but because it became more grounded and more aligned.
Shift is born from that place. It’s rooted in the belief that when we come home to ourselves, everything else begins to reorganize.
We’ve also learned that our symptoms, our patterns, and our stuckness are not failures, but signals. And that true healing happens when inner work is supported by intentional community.
This is just the beginning. We’re building a platform and a community for women who are ready to go deeper, who want to listen inward, reconnect with themselves, and create lives that feel aligned and sustainable.
What Is Shift?
A digital platform launching soon with guided pathways, live calls, and small-group experiences designed to support women through periods of transition, recalibration, and becoming.
Shift is a women’s health platform designed to help you meet yourself. To understand who you are, what lights you up, what you crave, and what your body has been trying to communicate to you all along.
We help women first align internally by cultivating self-awareness, embodiment, and emotional literacy so they can then align externally across health, relationships, career and purpose.
Shift is about helping women:
Build a felt sense of safety in their bodies
Understand the emotional and somatic roots of their patterns
Reconnect to intuition and self-trust
Translate inner clarity into aligned choices in real life
This is not surface-level wellness. And it is not therapy either.
Shift lives in the space between awareness and action. It is deeply rooted in community, practical tools, and a cultural shift that empowers women to reconnect with their bodies, trust themselves again, and make aligned choices that move them toward the life of their dreams.
What’s Next?
Every Tuesday, we will be releasing a new episode of our podcast, In Alignment, available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Every Wednesday, we will be publishing a Substack post. These will be personal journals from Marissa and me, sharing our lived experiences, reflections, and transitions in real time.
Coming this spring, we will be launching the Shift platform. Be sure to join the waitlist to receive early access.
This space will now serve as the written home of Shift.
If you have been here since the Let’s Feel Good days, thank you. You did not miss the point. You helped shape it.
Welcome to Shift. We are just getting started.
With love,
Annie & Marissa
